There are a few locations on Table Mountain that offer food and beverage.

Table Mountain Café

Table Mountain Café has a selection of delicious self-service meals and snacks, including options for kids, as well as tasty pastries and desserts. You’ll find dishes inspired by South African cuisine, a selection of fresh salads, sandwiches and pizza slices. Breakfast is served daily from opening time until 11:30. Lunch and light meals are served from 11:30. Drinks include fine wines, beer, speciality coffees and teas, fruit juices and sodas.

The Table Mountain Café offers a variety of specials and combos for visitors to enjoy. These are regularly updated, so keep an eye out for new options and tasty menu items!

The kitchen closes at 16:00 before the last car down and the Café closes half an hour before the last car down (check our operating hours).

The Café is also committed to remaining as green as possible. To conserve water, we've introduced compostable plates, cups and containers for food and beverage, made from organic compostable materials. Read our page on Responsible Tourism for more info.

Special access to the Café will be arranged for disabled visitors only prior to 10:30 and after 16:00.

Kiosks

Before hopping on the cable car, grab a snack at the Table Mountain Kiosk, conveniently situated next to the ticket office at the Lower Cable Station. Hot pies, fresh sandwiches, and hot and cold beverages are on sale.

Also at the Lower Cable Station, in one of our old converted cable cars, the Ice Cream Kiosk offers a variety of cold treats, including lollies and soft-serve ice creams.

During peak season there are also satellite outlets situated around the Upper and Lower Cable Stations that stock cold beverages and snacks.
